Puppy preschool - Please note Puppy Preschool is cancelled until further notice.

If you have a new puppy, getting knowledgeable yourself is essential to your puppy becoming  well adjusted and able to socialise well with other animals and humans.

Early education  is by far one of the most important things you can do to ensure they have the best start to life.  All puppies require socialisation and education from a young age to help them learn essential behaviours. How enjoyable is it to have a dog that listens and responds to your signals and commands, and can comfortably
 interact with their environment.
Our clinic offers a four week course for puppy’s 8-14 weeks of age.  During this course you and your puppy will learn basic training techniques, receive dietary and behavioural information and be able to have any questions answered.

At present Bianca, a trained veterinary nurse, runs this course.

Your puppy will receive a complementary goodie bag filled with treats, product samples and loads of general information  in regards to worming, de-sexing, fleas, ticks and what to do in an emergency . Some of the topics covered will include basic commands such as sit, stay, come, and drop; and trouble or problematic areas - toilet training, biting, digging, chewing, jumping-up and separation anxiety. Many clients find this is such a benefit when bringing a new member into their family, instilling confidence and giving them the ability  to understand and communicate more effectively to their new pet.
